About
This two-day international scientific and practical conference will focus on the role of the transport prosecutor’s office, law enforcement and other agencies in ensuring security of the transport system and challenges and achievements in its implementation. Participants will also recommend legislative reforms in the area.
The event will bring together representatives from the transport prosecutor’s office, government, law enforcement and security services, academia, transport industries, as well as experts from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, to contribute to the discussions.
The conference constitutes an important part of the OSCE Centre’s activities on transport security and highlights the priority of the Kazakhstani Chairmanship of the OSCE in 2010 in the area of “Promotion of good governance at border crossings, improvement of the security of land transportation and facilitation of international transport by road and rail in the OSCE region".
