About

The OSCE Centre in Astana is co-organizing the panel discussion “EXPO-2017 – Energy for sustainable development” which will be held in the framework of VII Astana Economic Forum. The event will be focused on the role of EXPO in the spheres of innovation development, international scientific and technical cooperation, energy efficiency, and the creation of opportunities for green businesses, technologies and investments. Some keynote speakers of the panel are experts closely involved in the preparation of the World EXPOs in Hannover (2000) and Zaragoza (2008), who can share their reflections on the risks, gains and lessons-learnt from these two past events.
