About
As part of its activities on strengthening the capacity-building of law enforcement agencies, the OSCE Centre co-organizes the two-day seminar for regional prosecutors to be held in Aktobe, Western Kazakhstan. The event is aimed at discussing the prosecutors’ role in court proceedings and improving the quality of their knowledge and skills in representing state prosecution in both non-jury and jury trial hearings. The participants will learn applicable international fair trial standards and basic trial technics for prosecutors. The seminar will be led by the experts from the Russian Federation who will share their experiences in handling criminal cases to be heard by jury.
