About
A conference on promotion of green technologies in the Schuchinsk-Borovoye resort zone is being organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Astana in partnership with the Burabay Aarhus Centre for some 50 representatives of the local administration as well as private and non-governmental organizations.
In the light of upcoming EXPO-2017 “Future energy”, the event will focus on energy efficiency in the hotel industry, reduction of CO2 emission and water pollution, waste management and use of alternative energy in the resort zone.
The event is a follow-up of the Office's earlier activities aimed at promoting the green economy principles and sustainable development.
