About
The OSCE Programme Office will support the training seminar for the 6th Central Asian Leadership Programme (CALP) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event will bring together some 40 young environmental leaders from the government, private sector and non-governmental organizations of Central Asia and Afghanistan. The nine-day event will provide a comprehensive assessment of the issues related to sustainable development in the context of global challenges as well as the needs and priorities in Central Asia such as green development, water management, access to drinking water, gender balance, energy efficiency and sustainable energy. The Central Asian Leadership Programme training event is a follow-up of the Office’s long-standing efforts to strengthen the network of young environmental leaders in the Central Asian region and beyond.
