About
Water resources quality will be the topic of a seminar organized in Kyzylorda by the Office in close partnership with the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea Executive Directorate in the Republic of Kazakhstan (IFAS-KZ) for some 40 representatives from national and regional water authorities, academia, civil society and members of the Aral-Syrdarya water basin council.
The event aims to examine the level of salinization of drinking and irrigation water resources vis-à-vis the needs of the basin. It is an integral part of the Office’s activities on integrated water resources management and enhanced transboundary water co-operation.
