About
This year’s international conference is devoted to the discussion of key challenges in ensuring the rights of the individual in modern society. The event is dedicated to the memory of Nagashbay Shaikenov, one of the most prominent lawyers in the history of independent Kazakhstan.
It will focus on how current criminal, civil, labour and environmental legislation protect the individual rights. The participants will also discuss the development of a national legal system in light of priorities set in the Legal Policy Concept of Kazakhstan for 2010-2020 and the National Plan “100 Concrete Steps to Implement Five Institutional Reforms”.
