About
The OSCE Programme Office will support a training seminar on public participation mechanisms in the environmental decision-making process. The event will be conducted in close co-operation with Pavlodar Aarhus Centre for some 20 representatives of environmental NGOs, political parties, Pavlodar region’s public council, media and other stakeholders. The training seminar will focus on current developments in civil participation, legal tools to implement the Aarhus Convention and practical mechanisms to hold public hearings.
The event is part of the Programme Office’s multi-year efforts to advance international standards of the Aarhus Convention in the host country.
