About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a roundtable discussion on promoting rural women’s entrepreneurship in Taraz, Southern Kazakhstan. Some 50 parliamentarians, representatives of the Zhambyl local administration, the regional National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, business organizations and civil society will attend the event. The round table will be followed by a training workshop targeted to build the capacity of the women entrepreneurs from the remote regions of Zhambyl oblast on the financial literacy and business leadership skills.
The event is part of the Office’s longstanding efforts to promote gender mainstreaming and economic women empowerment in the host country.
