About
The seminar is part of a series of 2016 events aimed at raising the awareness of regional judges in direct application of international human rights standards and human rights-based approach in administering justice. Participants will review current legislation and existing practices on the application of international anti-torture standards at the national level. The event will be led by national experts, who will present an overview of the decisions by UN treaty bodies on individual complaints related to torture and other forms of ill treatment.
