About
An OSCE-supported study visit to the Austrian Energy Institute and the Green Technologies Centre Umweltarena in Switzerland aims to promote the green economy best practices for some five representatives of the Energy Ministry and environmental civil society leaders.
The visit will address the issues regarding the establishment of the Astana Green Technologies Transfer Centre in Kazakhstan in 2017 as a follow up activity of the specialized international exhibition Expo-2017. The visitors are expected to obtain the knowledge on the Green Technologies Transfer Centres’ concept, mandate, operation and outreach capacity. The study visit will also showcase the opportunities for innovation and facilitate a better exchange know-how in the domain of energy efficiency, energy saving, organic farming and green construction.
