About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a workshop on practical implementation of temporary imports of goods under Istanbul’s 1990 Convention and application of Carnet ATA system in Astana for some 30 officials from central and local customs authorities and members of Kazakhstan’s Chamber of Commerce and business community. The participants will review practical experience of applying Carnet ATA system in Belarus and Russia and discuss further enforcement challenges in the host country.
The workshop is part of the Office’s multi-year efforts to assist the host country in promoting good governance and facilitating trade in the region.
