About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a roundtable discussion on the 2017 – 2021 Migration Policy Concept Paper for some 45 representatives of central and regional migration and internal affairs authorities, business associations and civil society organisations in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event aims to raise awareness and will focus on the Kazakhstan government’s recently adopted concept paper that regulates aspects of internal, labour and ethnic migration management in the country. Participants will also discuss labour admission policies and identify measures to improve the migration administration in line with best international practices.
The event is part of the OSCE Programme Office’s activities related to enhancing the host country’s efficient labour migration management practices.
