About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support an international business forum 'R4PARTNERS' to discuss investment attraction in the waste recycling sector of Kazakhstan.
The international business forum will gather regional waste recycling companies to elaborate on investment challenges in the waste management sector and discuss extended responsibility of producers. OSCE-supported experts will share international experience on separating waste for recycling, generating energy from waste and exploring landfill optimization. On the second day, the participants will visit a local paper and electronic equipment waste recycling site.
The event is part of the Office’s long-term efforts to promote green growth and sustainable development principles and to strengthen environmental security in the region.
