About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a training workshop on the practical application of temporary admission of goods under Istanbul’s 1990 Convention and application of Carnet ATA system in Almaty for some 80 officials from central and local customs authorities and representatives of Kazakhstan’s Chamber of Commerce and business community. The participants will review the practical experience of applying Carnet ATA system in Kazakhstan, Belarus and the Russian Federation, and discuss further enforcement challenges and the current situation in the country.
The workshop is part of the Programme Office’s multi-year efforts to assist Kazakhstan in promoting good governance and facilitating trade in the region.
