About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana is co-organizing a public presentation of the Ombudsman’s 2017 Annual report and its publication in both the Kazakh and Russian languages. The event aims to share detailed information on complaints received by the Ombudsman in 2017 from citizens, civil society institutions and human rights organizations. It intends to raise public awareness of the role of the Ombudsman in protecting citizens’ rights, as well as fostering dialogue between the public and the Ombudsman’s Office. The event will be attended by the state officials, representatives of academia, media as well as international and non-governmental organizations.
