About

The OSCE Programme Office in Nur-Sultan in partnership with the Strategic Police Matters Unit of the OSCE Transnational Threats Department and the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s office/ Hub to Counter Global Threats will organize three-day long online training seminar for law enforcement officials on countering cybercrime. Participants will discuss current problems of cybersecurity in Kazakhstan and investigative activities with information-communication technologies used today by the host country. OSCE-supported international and national experts will familiarize participants with international best practices on criminal investigation of cybercrimes and case studies of using digital forensics in responding to computer crimes.

The online seminar is part of the Programme Office’s multi-year efforts to promote good governance by building capacity of host country officials on cybersecurity.
