About
The objective is to analyse and develop models of co-operation between all stakeholders in the extractive industry value chain and encourage public participation in decision-making on social infrastructure projects.
The workshop will bring together around 40 participants from government authorities, non-governmental organizations, extractive companies and international organizations as well as other international experts.
Specific topics for discussion will include the facilitation of public oversight of government and industry, possibilities for regional citizens advisory councils and the introduction of international best practices in Kazakhstan's regions.
