It will also stress the importance of accountability regarding mining sector revenues and their expenditure on social investment projects aiming at the development of local social infrastructure. The participants will discuss the need to improve the work of the local Board of Experts, which was established under the auspices of the local administration to deal with social projects in the mining industry sector.
It is expected that the roundtable will bring together more than 40 participants, including representatives from mining industry companies, non-governmental and international organizations, as well as members of the multilateral Board of Experts.
