About
Participants from Central Asian countries and the Southern Caucasus, as well as Belarus and Germany will discuss the confidence- and security-building measures (CSBMs) stipulated in the Vienna Document 1999, including inspection procedures, the exchange of best practices and the display of weapons and equipment systems.
The seminar will include theoretical exercises and an inspection visit simulation to an Air Assault Brigade near Astana. The participants will conduct an assessment in accordance with the compliance and verification provisions of the Vienna Document, and produce a report with a summary of their findings.
