This seminar for judges is the first 2013 event in a series of seminars aimed at building the capacity of local judges in the fight against human trafficking.

The purpose of these seminars is to assist judges in studying a comparative analysis of consolidated judicial practice in criminal cases on human trafficking for 2007-2008 and 2009-2010 years, properly applying national anti-trafficking legislation, and specifying solutions for improvement in identified shortcomings as main issues.

Questions of restitution and compensation for damage caused to victims of human trafficking and classification of crimes associated with human trafficking will also be discussed.
