About
Kazakhstan’s Institute of the Prosecutor- General’s Office and the OSCE Centre in Astana are organizing a seminar on the rational use of water resources, including the supply of drinking water for the population.
As a one-day video-conference the seminar will bring together prosecutors of general supervision and state officials from 16 offices in different cities and regions of Kazakhstan that are specialized in environmental issues.
International and local experts will focus on the existing problems related to the water use, the legal responsibility for water law breaches, the European best legal practices in water management, and will suggest improvements in Kazakhstan’s water legislation.
