About
A two-day OSCE-supported workshop for Kazakhstani prosecutors will focus on the practical aspects of jury trial work, adversarial proceedings and equality of arms and the role of defence lawyers and prosecutors. It is expected that some 30 regional prosecutors from across the country will attend the workshop. Experts from the Russian Federation will give presentations on international and country-specific practices and experience in dealing with criminal cases in front of a jury.
The training is a part of the Centre's long term co-operation with Kazakhstan's law enforcement agencies.
