About
The conference aims to raise awareness and to promote the concept of the transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a green economy.
It will bring together participants from the private sector, civil society and state institutions to encourage the discussion about ways toward an effective regional plan to implement green economy principles, with particular attention to the development of energy, water and waste management sectors.
Promoting green-economy principles as part of sustainable development is a priority of the OSCE Centre’s economic and environmental strategy for 2013.
