This conference aims to discuss ways to reform criminal procedure legislation through sharing international best practices and expert recommendations, as well as to strengthen expert dialogue among criminal justice practitioners, legislation drafters, and independent legal policy experts on the most topical issues of current criminal legislation reform, such as pre-trial procedures, expansion of judicial control and criminal restraint measures.
The event will bring together government officials, MPs, representatives of NGOs, academia, advocates, local and international experts from Russia and Ukraine.
