About
The OSCE Centre in Astana together with the Ministry of Interior will organize a public discussion of the draft law concept on fingerprinting and genomic registration. The concept envisages the creation of a fingerprint database to search for missing citizens of Kazakhstan, foreign citizens and stateless persons, to identify the unidentified deceased, to authenticate a citizen's identity and to prevent and investigate crimes.
The event will bring together government officials and leading experts from academia and non-governmental organizations.
