About
The national seminar will gather national and international experts to discuss current challenges in countering violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (VERLT) including youth’s role in this process. Participants, who will represent Kazakhstan’s law enforcement, academia and non-governmental organizations, will discuss national and international perspectives of youth engagement to counter VERLT through education, arts, sports, and the media, the role of law enforcement in preventing VERLT among youth, as well as co-operation and coordination in countering violent extremism.
