About
The OSCE Centre in Astana in close co-operation with the Kazakh-German University organizes the Water Forum “Government-University-Industry” with a special focus on the principles of Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM).
The Forum will bring together some 60 representatives of Kazakhstan's water authorities, civil society, academia, students and international organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the United Nations Development Programme, to discuss and propose internationally sound principles of water management at the national level.
The event will also facilitate a platform for dialogue among interested stakeholders and provide training for students during the second half of a day.
The Forum supported by the OSCE Centre from its political stance forms an integral part of the Centre’s activities on efficient water management in transboundary and national contexts.
