About
The meeting will be organized for representatives of international organizations and foreign embassies in Kazakhstan, as well as the host country’s agencies involved in combating and countering threats and challenges related to border security. The meeting’s discussions will primarily be focused on previous, current and upcoming projects of the international community members, where the state agencies will be involved. It is expected that the host country’s institutions will be represented by the Border Service of the Committee for National Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Social Development.
The event is a part of the Office’s longstanding efforts to counter transnational organized crime, illicit trafficking of drugs and strengthening capacities of host country’s border service.
