About

The international expert meeting initiated by the Parliament of Kazakhstan aims to discuss the draft law on access to information. The experts from the OSCE/ODIHR, OECD, UNESCO, and OHCHR will present their legal opinion and recommendations to the draft law. The expert discussion will gather parliamentarians, government officials, representatives of non-governmental organizations, academia, journalists and members of the working group on access to information. The event is part of the Office’s activities on providing expert support to the government and civil society of the host country in developing draft legislation.
