About

This conference aims to discuss three draft laws - on access to information, on public councils and on countering corruption that were recently submitted to the Parliament. High-level government officials, parliamentarians, representatives of non-governmental organizations, journalists, national and international legal experts will review the measures to improve national anti-corruption legislation, to advance political accountability and to develop effective access to information policies prescribed in the package of draft laws. International experts from Germany, Ireland and the Russian Federation will present the analysis of three draft laws in the context of relevant Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development  and OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and human Rights’ recommendations.

The event is part of the Office’s activities on providing expert support to the government and civil society of host country on draft legislation and in countering corruption.
