About
An OSCE-supported workshop on practical tools for implementing the principles of organic farming will be organized in Shymkent, Western Kazakhstan. The event will be attended by representatives of the regional Akimat, the agricultural and business sectors as well as the general public. It will include a review of initiatives aimed at strengthening organic food production on a national and international scale.
The workshop is a follow-up of a similar event that took place in Kyzylorda in July and aims to promote the use of organic products and raise awareness among the general public on the latest technologies in the field. The seminars are part of the Office’s long-standing efforts to promote green growth and sustainable development principles in the host country.
