About
This OSCE-supported conference in collaboration with the Green Academy will focus on fulfilment of Kazakhstan’s obligations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as stipulated by Paris climate conference.
The event “Paris Agreement: Priorities and Prospects for Implementation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" will be attended by some 60 representatives of the Parliament, Energy, Finance and National Economy Ministries, international organizations and NGOs. The workshop aims to inform general public on the results of Paris Climate Agreement and brainstorm on the national action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
The event is part of the Programme Office’s long-standing efforts to promote green growth and sustainable development principles in the host country.
