This training seminar is the first in a series of 2016 training events aimed at strengthening the capacity of legal community, including defence lawyers, to effectively function in accordance with novelties in criminal procedure legislation. The seminar will aims to provide defence lawyers an opportunity to acquirewith a deeper understanding of the advocacy specifics in cases with the involvement of investigating judges. The eEvent participants will discuss the issues related to organizational and legal aspects of methodology and mechanisms for collection of evidence, application of international standards, as well as enhancing defence lawyers’ knowledge and skills on evidence deposition procedure. A separate session will be devoted to the legal ethics and principles of lawyers’ interaction with the media and social networks.
