About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a capacity building event on promoting integrated water resources management principles in the Chu-Talas Water Basin. Some 80 representatives of international organizations, government and civil sector will attend the roundtable seminar and focus on overcoming challenges in the area of effective water resources management as well as on promoting co-operation aimed at fair and sustainable sharing of water resources in the basin.
The event is part of the Programme Office’s long-standing efforts to raise awareness and build capacity of the state institutions in the area of water governance.
