About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a workshop on internet trade taxation administration in Astana for some 30 representatives of customs and tax officials from the the State Revenue Committee. The participants will review the international practices of taxing online sales, on-site audits, determining the value of online purchased goods, disclosing underreported revenues, as well as co-operation opportunities with local and international authorities to enhance customs clearance procedures for goods purchased over the Internet.
The workshop is part of the Office’s long-term effort at promoting good governance and facilitating trade in the region.
