About
Some 30 representatives of Kazakhstan’s regional State Revenues departments, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be taking part in a three-day training seminar dedicated to the best practices in countering transnational organized crime, new psychoactive substances and synthetic drugs. The event will be led by the experts from Belarus, the United States, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre (CARICC).
The training seminar will provide an overview of international practices in countering transnational organized crime, identifying and precluding international channels for the trade of drugs, new psychoactive substances and synthetic drugs.
The event is part of the OSCE Programme Office in Astana's activities to enhance the host country’s capacities to prevent and counter transnational organized crime with a specific focus on countering illegal trafficking of new psychoactive substances and synthetic drugs.
