About
This training seminar concludes a series of 2016 training events aimed at strengthening the capacity of legal community, including defence lawyers, to effectively function in accordance with novelties in criminal procedure legislation. The seminar aims to provide defence lawyers with a deeper understanding of the advocacy specifics in cases with the involvement of investigating judges. Event participants will discuss issues related to organizational and legal aspects of methodology and mechanisms for collection of evidence, application of international standards, as well as enhancing defence lawyers’ knowledge and skills on evidence deposition procedure. A separate session will be devoted to the legal ethics and principles of lawyers’ interaction with the media and social networks.
