About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a workshop in Taldykorgan on energy efficiency for some 70 secondary school teachers from the Almaty region.
The event aims to build capacity of teachers on energy-saving tools in everyday life by putting an emphasis on the application of green technologies at schools and households. The skills gained by teachers will be applied during the classes at primary schools and raise students’ awareness on sustainable development.
The event is part of the Programme Office’s awareness-raising activities on sustainable development among youth in Kazakhstan and is a continuation of similar energy efficiency training events conducted in 2016 in Western Kazakhstan.
