About
OSCE Programme Office in Astana in co-operation with the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea Executive Directorate in the Republic of Kazakhstan will support a high-level forum in the area of water governance and discuss existing needs and gaps in the water education sector.
The roundtable meeting will bring together some 30 representatives of the Parliament, national water and education authorities, water basin councils, academia and international organizations who will examine the state education standards and develop an action plan to improve the training process for water specialists.
The event is part of the Office’s long-term efforts to raise awareness and enhance the capacity of state institutions in the area of water governance.
