About
The Training Centre, established by the IFAS Executive Directorate in Kazakhstan with the support of the OSCE Centre in Astana and local administration, provides a specialised training on IWRM and water security issues for representatives from state agencies, civil society organizations and academia. Located in Kyzylorda, the Centre is one of the practical tools for promoting IWRM in the Aral-Syrdarya river basin through enhancing capacity of all interested stakeholders.
The opening ceremony will be followed by a meeting of the Aral-Syrdarya River Basin Council and a pilot awareness-raising training on IWRM principles.
