About
The aim of the meeting is to examine the practical application of the Law "On religious activity and religious associations" adopted in October 2011 and facilitate dialogue between Kazakhstani state and non-state actors on the freedom of religion or belief issues. At the meeting the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for religious affairs will present its Commentary on the Law "On religious activity and religious associations".
The event will bring together international experts of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR), representatives of state bodies, religious organisations and human rights NGOs.
