About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a roundtable discussion on promoting rural women’s entrepreneurship in Shortandy, Akmola region. The event will be conducted by the Union of Women Entrepreneurs and bring together some 50 participants from the Parliament, Shortandy local administration, the regional National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, business and civil society organizations. The roundtable discussion will be followed by a training workshop on financial management and business leadership aimed to improve the skills of women living in the rural areas of Akmola region.
The event is part of the Office’s longstanding efforts to promote gender mainstreaming and economic empowerment of women in the host country.
