About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support Kazakhstan-Russia Experts Commission meeting on the joint use of trans-boundary water resources in Atyrau. The discussion will focus on dredging activities in the Ural River and involve some 40 water officials from Kazakhstan and Russia, representatives of international organizations and the civil society. The event participants will also get familiar with the dredging experience in Russia and discuss further joint activities in the Ural River.
The event is part of the Programme Office’s long-standing efforts to raise awareness and build capacity of state institutions in the area of water governance.
