About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana is co-organizing a public presentation of the Ombudsman’s 2016 Annual report in both the Kazakh and Russian languages. The event aims to share detailed information on complaints received by the Ombudsman in 2016 from citizens, civil society institutions and human rights organizations. It intends to raise public awareness of the role of the Ombudsman in protecting citizens’ rights, as well as fostering dialogue between the public and the Ombudsman’s Office. The event will be attended by the state officials, representatives of academia as well as international and non-governmental organizations.
