About
The OSCE Programme Office will support a regional roundtable discussion on promoting green technologies with a focus on organic agriculture in Petropavlovsk, northern Kazakhstan. The invited experts will discuss international standards to promote green technologies, the application of renewable energy sources at agricultural facilities and available financial instruments. Some 50 participants will attend the event, including representatives of the regional Agricultural Department, the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, local farmers and representatives of the agribusiness community.
The event aims to promote the use of organic agriculture and raise awareness on the latest technologies in the field among the farmers. It is part of the Programme Office’s long-standing efforts to promote sustainable development principles in Kazakhstan.
