About
The OSCE Programme Office will host the last in a series of three regional roundtable discussions on promoting green technologies with a focus on organic agriculture in Taldykorgan, Almaty Region. Some 35 participants including representatives of Almaty Region’s Agricultural Department, the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, local farmers and representatives of the agribusiness community will discuss international standards to promote green technologies, the application of renewable energy sources at agricultural facilities and available financial instruments.
The roundtable discussion aims to promote the use of organic agriculture and raise awareness on the latest technologies in the field among the farmers. It is part of the Programme Office’s long-standing efforts to promote sustainable development principles in Kazakhstan.
