About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a trade facilitation and border protection regional workshop in Astana for some 50 participants of Kazakhstan’s Finance Ministry as well as trade officials from China, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. Experts from the Austrian Federal Finance Ministry will share best practices on promoting trade through simplified customs clearance procedures and ensuring adequate border protection mechanisms.
The workshop is part of the Programme Office’s multi-year efforts to assist the host country in promoting good governance and facilitating trade in the region.
