About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana will support a high-level conference for some 100 representatives of the Parliament, national water and education authorities, water basin councils, academia and international organizations. The participants will discuss water conservation and integrated water resources management, safety of hydraulic structures, watering pastures with the application of renewable energy sources and promoting co-operation aimed at sustainable use of water resources.
The event is part of the Programme Office’s long-standing efforts to raise awareness and build capacity of the state institutions in the area of water governance.
