About
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana in co-operation with the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan will organize an expert group meeting to discuss the draft law on media. The discussion will gather some 50 parliamentarians, government officials, representatives of non-governmental organizations, journalists, and members of the working group on the draft media law.
National and international media experts, including OSCE RFoM expert Dmitriy Golovanov, will present their legal opinions and recommendations to the draft law based on international standards and best practices.
The event is part of the Office’s activities to promote media freedom.
